Success, huh? What if you've been pursuing the 'wrong things' or had unrealistic expectations about true fulfillment?
If you're still young, good for you. If not, perhaps you've developed new desires for things you believe you need. Maybe you live unhappily, thinking your life could have been more captivating if you'd reached the pedestal society set for you while growing up.
For some of you, it still haunts you as you go to sleep with memories of unachieved goals and experiences you desperately wanted. So let's explore the true meaning of 'success'. I encourage you to read on…
I once heard it best described as: 'The gratitude of the beneficial footprint you leave on society.' By: Mp45
This means it's not about a million people chanting your name on a Friday night in Toronto as you fly home to Barcelona on a private jet. Nor is it about having thousands of people hoping their lives will be complete once they meet you.
You don't need fame, money, cars, and all the material possessions to find gratification. Don't get me wrong, those possessions might be considered 'rewards', but I assure you, my friend, they are not the essence of 'success'. So what do you need to be successful? Good question.
First, you need to identify your gifts. You might say: 'well all I can do is roll my tongue oddly and move my eyebrows in opposite directions, so how is that going to help me?' See, you're already limiting yourself mentally. As impressive as that might be, it's not the core of what you possess.
Do you consider yourself a peacemaker? Are you thoughtful? Do you want to help others, whether in your neighborhood, country, or overseas? Do you think about performing, like making people laugh or keeping them on the edge of their seats? As humans, we are endowed with various talents, skills, and abilities, but sadly, we often take them to the grave.
The secret to success is to harness all your positive attributes, then reflect on yourself and those close to you. When you're done, think about what will truly satisfy you when you lay down at the end of your life. What really matters? What will you leave behind that will remain in the hearts of those you've encountered?

Here are a few thoughts: Imagine the smile on your young boy's face after keeping a promise. What about the awe on your parents' faces after you give them a gift you once couldn't afford?
Have you ever thought about bringing people together, sharing your struggles with the broken, feeding the hungry, or giving your heart completely to the one you love? Some risk their lives for their countries, but in the end, success is lying on your deathbed, completely emptied of all your treasures, time, and talents that you possessed in this lifetime.
True satisfaction is found when you lose your pride…
